DCPT1061 is a selective inhibitor of type I PRMT subfamily members, potently inhibits PRMT1, PRMT6, and PRMT8, with less inhibitory effect on PRMT3, PRMT4, and PRMT5 or other epigenetic enzymes.
DCPT1061 significantly induced a dose-dependent inhibition of cell proliferation in ccRCC cell lines including 786-O, A498, ACHN, and Caki-1 (IC50=0.5-2.8 uM), induced G1 cycle arrest in ccRCC cells.
CPT1061 inhibited AKT and RB phosphorylation in Caki-1 cells.
Combinational treatment of DCPT1061 and sunitinib exhibited a striking anticancer effect in ccRCC.
