Cycloastragenol (Cyclogalagenin, GRN-510) is a natural tetracyclic triterpenoid that is a potent telomerase activator.
Cycloastragenol modestly retards telomere shortening, increases proliferative potential, and, importantly, enhances cytokine/chemokine production and antiviral activity.
Cycloastragenol suppresses lung damage in a murine model of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
