Cotransin CT8 (CT-08) is a substrate-selective co-translational translocation inhibitor, binds the Sec61 translocon to inhibit cotranslational translocation of a subset of secreted and type I transmembrane proteins.
Cotransin CT8 (CT-08) inhibits DENV replication in primary human monocyte-derived dendritic cells.
Cotransin CT8 (CT-08) inhibit secretory and transmembrane protein expression.
Cotransin CT8 (CT-08) inhibits cotranslational translocation of TNFα, a type II transmembrane protein that lacks a cleavable signal sequence.
Cotransin CT8 (CT-08) exhibits selectivity for VCAM and TNFα, affecting most of the remaining proteins only at higher concentrations.
