CWP-232228 is a highly potent small-molecule Wnt/β-catenin signaling inhibitor that targets the β-catenin/Tcf4 interaction in the nucleus.
CWP-232228 preferentially inhibits the growth of breast cancer stem cells (BCSC) as well as bulk tumor cells.
CWP-232228 inhibits β-catenin-mediated transcription and attenuates IGF-I-mediated BCSC functions.
CWP-232228 reduces tumor growth in a murine xenograft model.
