CP681301 is a potent, highly specific CDK5 inhibitor, completely inhibits both CDK5-P35 and CDK5-P25 at 1 uM.
CP681301 is more specific to CDK5 than its closest relative CDK2.
CP681301 (1 uM) reduces stem cell markers CD133, OLIG2, and SOX2 and the cell proliferation marker Ki67 in GBM GSC cultures.
CP681301 reduces CDK5 activation, stem cell marker expression, and cell proliferation in mouse xenografts ex vivo.
