CFMTI is a potent, selective, allosteric and oral mGluR1 antaognist with IC50 of 2.6 and 2.3 nM for human and rat mGluR1, respectively.
CFMTI displays >2,000-fold selectivity over mGluR5, and no actvity for other mGluR subtypes.
CFMTI reduces methamphetamine-induced hyperlocomotion and MK-801-induced social withdrawal without any cataleptogenic activities in mice.
