CDE 096 (CDE-096, CDE096) is a selective, reversible, high-affinity PAI-1 inhibitor that prevents PAI-1 from inactivating tPA and uPA with similar potency (IC50=30 and 25 nM, respectively).
CDE 096 shows ineffective against two closely related serpins, antithrombin and α1-PI.
CDE 096 blocks PAI-1 binding to vitronectin with IC50 of 22 nM.
