CCT077791 (CCT077791) is a small molecule inhibitor of PCAF and p300 histone acetyltransferase with IC50 of 2.2 uM and IC95 of 35 uM, respectively.
CCT077791 inhibited the growth of a panel of human tumor cell lines (HCT116 GI50=3.0 uM, HT29 GI50=2.1 uM), decreased cellular acetylation in a time- and concentration- dependent manner in HCT116 and HT29 human colon tumor cell lines.
CCT077791 reduced total acetylation of histones H3 and H4, levels of specific acetylated lysine marks, and acetylation of alpha-tubulin.
