CC-8977 (CaMKK2-IN-1) is a hgihly potent, selective inhibitor of calcium/calmodulin-dependent kinase kinase II (CaMKK2) with binding IC50 of 7 nM.
CC-8977 inhibits phosphorylation of AMPK in LKB1 null A427 cells with IC50 of 170 nM.
CC-8977 shows CaMKK1 binding IC50 of 26 nM.
CC-8977 displays high selectivity against a panel of 259 kinases.
