BMS-5 (LIMKi-3) is a cell-permeable, potent, selective inhibitor of LIMK with IC50 of 7/8 nM for LIMK1/2, respectively.
BMS-5 (LIMKi-3) effectively destabilizes F-actin structure in MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells (3-10 uM) with concomitant blockage of invasion (by 93% at 10 uM).
BMS-5 (LIMKi-3) significantly affects porcine oocyte maturation, causes aberrant actin distribution and spindle positioning.
