BMS-303141 is a potent, cell-permeable inhibitor of ATP-citrate lyase (ACL, ACLY) with IC50 of 0.13 uM.
BMS-303141 suppressed HepG2 and Huh-7 cell proliferation.
Combined treatment with BMS-303141 and sorafenib reduced HepG2 tumour volume and weight in mouse xenograft model.
BMS-303141 induces ER stress and activate p-eIF2α/ATF4/CHOP axis to promote apoptosis of HCC cells.
