BML-284 (AMBMP) is a potent selective, and cell-permeable canonical Wnt/β-catenin pathway activator with EC50 of 0.7 uM (induces beta-catenin- and TCF-dependent transcriptional activity).
BML-284 induces the rapid phosphorylation of NFκB p65 at Ser536 and abrogates total IκB, accompanied by a subsequent increase in pro-inflammatory cytokine production (TNF, IL-6, IL-12 p40) in otherwise naive monocytes.
AMBMP treatment activates CaMKII and metabolically reprograms skeletal muscle toward a slow muscle phenotype.
