BML-111 is a lipoxin A4 (LXA4) analog and lipoxin A4 receptor (ALX, formyl peptide receptor 2, FPR2) agonist, inhibits leukotriene B4-induced polymorphonuclear chemotaxis.
BML-111 effectively protected the liver from CCl(4)-induced injury as evidenced by decreased serum aminotransferase (ALT, AST) levels and improved histological damage.
BML-111 markedly upregulated hepatic heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) expression in CCl(4)-treated mice, which might provide antioxidative activities in the liver.
BML-111 protects podocytes cultured in high-glucose medium against oxidative injury via activating Nrf2 pathway.
BML-111 attenuates ventilator-induced lung injury in rats. suppresses the growth of transplanted H22 tumor in mice through inhibiting tumor-related angiogenesis.
