BIM-46187 (PH-064)) is a selective small molecule inhibitor of Gαq/11 proteins, directly binds to the Galpha subunit, prevents the conformational changes of the receptor-G protein complex associated with GPCR activation.

BIM-46187prevents the proper interaction of receptors with the G protein heterotrimer and inhibits the agonist-promoted GDP/GTP exchange.

BIM-46187 elicits anti-hyperalgesic properties and synergizes with morphine.
