BE21349 is a potent, selective dual inhibitor of carbonic anhydrases hCA IX and XII with Ki of 61.8 nM and 40.5 nM for hCA IX and hCA XII respectively.
BE21349 shows 33- and 51-fold selectivity for these respective isoforms over hCA I (Ki= 2090 nM).
BE21349 exhibits antiproliferative activity across the NCI-60 panel.
