BAY-390 (BAY390) is a potent, selective, brain-penetrant TRPA1 inhibitor with IC50 of 16 and 63 nM for hTRPA1 and rTRPV1, respectively.
BAY-390 (90 mg/kg, oral, twice daily) reversed mechanical allodynia in the spinal nerve ligation (SNL) neuropathic pain model in rats.
BAY-390 (30 mg/kg, oral, twice daily) reduced CFA-induced inflammatory pain in rats.
BAY-390 is an in vitro and in vivo probe to investigate the central and peripheral roles played by TRPA1 in rodent preclinical models.
