Alofanib ((RPT-835, ES 000835) is a potent, selective, allosteric FGFR2 inhibitor that significantly inhibits bFGF-induced proliferation of HUVEC cells with IC50 of 11 nM.
Alofanib ((RPT-835) suppresses proliferation of SVEC-4-10 cells with IC50 of 58 nM, inhibits growth of FGFR2-expressing SKOV3 cells with GI50 of 0.37 uM.
Alofanib ((RPT-835) inhibits experimental FGF-induced angiogenesis in vivo.
