AZD9898 (AZD-9898) is a highly potent, selective and oral inhibitor of leukotriene C4 synthase (LTC4S) with IC50 of 0.28 nM.
AZD9898 displays nanomolar potency in cells (PBMCs, IC50,free = 6.2 nM).
AZD9898 exhibits good in vivo pharmacodynamics in a calcium ionophore-stimulated rat model after oral dosing (in vivo, IC50,free = 34 nM).
