生物&药学活性

AZD7545 is a potent, selective inhibitor of pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase (PDHK, PDK) with IC50 of 36.8 nM and 6.4 nM for PDHK1 and PDHK2 respectively.
AZD7545 increases PDH activity with EC50 of 5.2 nM, stimulates the rate of pyruvate oxidation 2-fold (EC50=105 nM) in rat hepatocytes.
AZD7545 inhibits PDHK activity of recombinant PDHK and intracellular PDH phosphorylation.
