    AUT2 is a novel specific, cell permeant modulator of Kv3 channels with EC50 of 0.9 and 1.9 uM for Kv3.1b and Kv3.2a, respectively.
    AUT2 is more potent than AUT1, increases open probability of Kv3.1 channels in excised membrane patches, and reduces the firing rate of auditory brain stem neurons.
