AS1949490 (AS-1949490) is a potent, selective SHIP2 inhibitor with IC50 of 0.34/0.62 uM for mouse/human SHIP2.
AS1949490 displays 30-fold selectivity over SHIP1, and other intracellular phosphatases.
AS1949490 increases the phosphorylation of Akt, glucose consumption and glucose uptake in L6 myotubes and suppresses gluconeogenesis in FAO hepatocytes.
