ARN19874 (ARN-19874) is the first selective, cell-active inhibitor of N-acylphosphatidylethanolamine phospholipase D (NAPE-PLD) with IC50 of 33.7 uM.
ARN19874 displays no inhibitory effect on carbonic anhydrase (CA) II, neutral endopeptidase and angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) at 50 uM.
ARN19874 is significantly less potent on the Q320A mutant.
ARN19874 causes a substantial accumulation of non-metabolized NAPE species iuman HEK-293 cells at 50 uM.
