Brimapitide (KU002, D-JNKI-1, XG-102, AM-111) is a cell-permeable peptide inhibitor of JNK kinases.
Brimapitide blocks apoptotic JNK signaling in brain mitochondria.
Brimapitide decreases the expression of CD4(+) and CD8(+) cells, effects T-cell activation, differentiation, and migration in a murine model of chronic colitis.
Brimapitide prevents hearing loss from SC transection in the guinea pig model of PA-OM.
