ALKBH2 inhibitor AH2-14c is the ethyl ester, cell membrane permeable prodrug of AH2-15c, which is a potent and selective inhibitor of 2OG-dependent DNA demethylase AlkB homolog 2 (ALKBH2) with IC50 of 31 nM.
AH2-14c exhibits nti-proliferation and anti-migration abilities of AH2-14c on U87 cells.
AH2-14c induces apoptosis in GBM cell lines.
AH2-14c shows significantly increased anti-viability activity against U87 cells with an IC50 value of 4.56 uM, compare with AH2-15c.
AH2-14c directly binds to ALKBH2 and increases the levels of DNA 3meC in cells (5 uM).
