4'-bromo-resveratrol (4'-BR) is a dual small molecule inhibitor of SIRT1 and SIRT3, inhibits melanoma cell growth through mitochondrial metabolic reprogramming.
4'-BR completely inhibited both SIRT1 and SIRT3 at 0.2 mM.
4'-BR induces apoptosis via inhibiting extrinsic and intrinsic pathways in human melanoma cells.
4'-BR inhibits migration and causes a G1 phase arrest, inhibits aerobic glycolysis in human melanoma cells.
