(S)-ABS01-113 is a potent, highly selective and efficacious dopamine D3 receptor (D3R) partial agonist with EC50 of 7.6 nM, binds with high affinity to D3R with Ki value of 0.84 nM, >1,000-fold selectivity over D2R.
(S)-ABS01-113 displays excellent oral bioavailability and high brain penetration.
Pretreatment with (S)-ABS01-113 attenuated heroin-enhanced hyperactivity, heroin self-administration, and (heroin + cue)-induced reinstatement of drug-seeking behavior in animal models of opioid use disorders (OUD).
