ONO-1301 is a stable, orally active, non-prostanoid prostacyclin I2 (PGI2) mimetic and prostacyclin agonist with inhibitory activity against thromboxane A2 synthase.
ONO-1301 suppresses the elevation of protein excretion into urine in rats, attenuates the development of bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis and improves survival in bleomycin mice.
