IMU1003 (IMU-1003) is a small molecule inhibitor of Wnt/β-catenin signaling, decreases β-catenin levels and inhibits target gene expression that promotes cancer cell proliferation.
IMU1003 (10-20 uM) decreases Wnt-induced phenotypes in zebrafish embryos and HEK293 cells.
IMU1003 downregulates β-catenin in the nuclear fraction.
IMU1003 selectively suppresses proliferation of human cancer cell lines without an activating mutation in the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway (MDA-MB-231, IC50=10.4 uM).
IMU1003 suppresses the emergence of osimertinib-resistant colonies from gefitinib-resistant NSCLC.
