Compound 11064 is a baicalein-derived compound with potent activity against DENV and ZIKV, displays pan-serotype DENV and ZIKV antiviral activity in vitro in the low micromolar range.
Compound 11064 exhibits potent inhibition against DENV, ZIKV, and EV-A71 infection in vitro (IC503-16 uM).
Compound 11064 displays potent pan-DENV serotype, pan-ZIKV, and EV-A71 antiviral activity in the various cell lines tested with IC50 values in the low micromolar range.
Compound 11064 targets entry and post-replication stages of DENV infection cycle, does not prevent DENV attachment at the cell surface, nor viral RNA synthesis and viral protein translation.
Compound 11064 affects the viral entry step at a post-receptor binding stage, does not interfere with receptor-binding step of the infection cycle.
